Dunno about Amcron or what it is, but have had D-75's and liked them for my hi-fi. I may not be the most particular nor well travelled in that realm though.
Sold them only when a favorable deal on a bryston came along. The bryston was a little less power, which suits my application just fine/better in the end.
That said, have seen beat road-worn ones, and nice studio ones, so ymmv.
Amcron is part of Crown.

If that amp is performing up to spec it should do a fine job on most any speaker. We used to use DC300A's on our PA rigs & I used one for a while in the home system & it produces plenty of clean power. They are very well regarded amps.
mah, take a look at the ART SLA-1. It's a really nice amp.
I have 2 Crown D75s, that powers a tri-amped Altec 806 driver/811 horn, and an EV T350 super tweeter, works great.
The older Crown DC series were really built for heavy-duty commercial applications, but many people used them in home applications. For example whole case of the DC75s functions as a heat sink.
BTW: I think the "Amcron" is used for export models, the name Crown is used in the US. Many USA-based companies use a different name outside of the US because that name maybe already in use by someone else overseas.

Crowns are sold overseas.I think Amcron is industrial sometimes. Medical gear contains Amcron stuff, also things like shaker tables. Or it may be the medical stuff is assembled overseas. They have a Techron also..

think some canadian issue DC300s i've seen were labeled AMCROM...
not sure if they were sold as power supplies or some other industrial use pieces initially though....
seems as if the differences between the PSU units and audio amplifiers was relatively slight, from my understanding
